Emily joined Tandem at the start of the year and appreciates collaborating and navigating the world of employment together. Emily believes in the power of relationships and hearing perspectives in the lens of communication.

Emily has served varied populations in support of removing barriers to promote learning and employment. In addition to working with youth in school and psychiatric hospital settings, Emily worked for the Massachusetts Bail Fund promoting policies for justice reform. Emily earned several awards in her career, such as but not limited to: Civic Engagement Hall of Fame, Newman Civic Service Award, Dr. Cheryl Finkelstein Award for the Outstanding Dedication to the Student Population, and academic achievements to include: National Honor Society and Phi Alpha Honor Society of Social Work. 

Emily resides in the Chittenden county area with her family and cats. She enjoys anything active especially skiing, swimming, soccer and being a coach in the community for club and high school teams.
