Abryana Wood, M.Ed., Ed.S., CRC
Abryana joined Tandem in June 2022 and considers it an honor and a privilege to support injured workers, to hear their stories, and to help them navigate their journey back to meaningful employment.
Abryana lives in Fair Haven, Vermont in a house that was built in the 1840’s with her family and a few goats, dogs, and cats. She enjoys hiking, biking, and paddling the gorgeous Green Mountains of Vermont with her husband and four kids.

Donna Curtin, MS, CRC
Donna partnered to join Brit McKenna at Tandem in June 2022 and embraces a dual customer focus towards Return To Work. Donna most enjoys the field of workers' comp vocational rehabilitation to meet hard-working Vermonters, who were injured at work, and to assist them in returning to meaningful employment for a productive and fulfilling life and to collaborate on behalf of employers to sustain their stable workforce.
Donna lives in Montpelier, Vermont. When not rushing her four kids to hockey, football, soccer, and lacrosse games, Donna runs trails or on dirt roads to enjoy Vermont at its best. Donna is an active Board Member of the Green Mountain United Way and Chair of the Governor’s Community for the Employment of People with Disabilities.

Brit McKenna, MS, CRC, CVE
Brit started what has beautifully grown into Tandem in January 2022, providing vocational counseling and assessments. Brit comes from a long line of dairy farmers—giving her a chance to observe vocation as a lifestyle—and is passionate about helping injured workers reach their vocational goals and return to meaningful employment.
Brit lives in Weybridge, Vermont and can often be found with her two boys, and their dog, Maple, playing in the dirt, chasing the snow, skiing and biking.

“I was responsible for the management of comp claims at a mid-market company and Donna Curtin was a critical part of our claims management strategy. Donna has that rare ability to deftly balance respectful empathy for individual employees with the practical concerns of employers. She appreciates, as few in the industry do, that workers compensation is not a zero-sum game, but a process that works best when employer and employee are engaged and collaborating, working toward the same end. She knows the process inside and out, and I simply can’t say enough to recommend her. Adjusters, employers, claims managers: if you have a tricky comp claim, Donna can add value to your process and help you find the light at the end of the tunnel.” -Christopher Bond, Senior Assistant Attorney General

“I was fortunate to have worked with Donna the early years of her career when she coordinated placement services at Goodwill - 1995-1999. Her success wasn't only coming from her "toolbox" with the "tools of the trade" but from her core reflecting on her bright and expressive face. From compassion to concern to thoughtfulness, one could easily see her genuine and respect she had for those she worked with and for. It was a sincere loss when she departed and I believe a strong gain to where she went to. It was a positive professional experience to have known her that added to the mosaic of my work as a vocational rehabilitation counselor. I firmly believe that she only has improved as the years went by. Thank you, Donna!” -Theodora Kalfopoulous, Changing Gears

To know and work with Donna is a true opportunity to discover all that possible in yourself. Her ability to be strategic in thought, tenacious in commitment and guided by what is simply the right thing to do and be, makes her one of the brightest gems of our community. I would highly recommend Donna as the person you want on your team to not only get something done, but to far exceed your expectations of success.” -Tawanya Kristen, CEO at Green Mountain United Way

Ms. Woods was very helpful to me, she was very understanding and oh so much help. I feel that she went above and beyond her responsibilities as a worker, she helped me fill out applications and forms, and even took the time to fill out forms and applications for me both with me and on her own. Couldn't ask for a better person to work with. It was a long road, almost 2 years I think, and in that time I feel like not only was she there as a worker, but also as a support, friend and an influencer. Can't say enough about Ms. Woods, and will surely miss working with her, anyone who has her for a worker, and truly wants to get a job and get going with things has no excuse not to if they are dedicated. I thank you Ms. Woods for everything you did for me. You are awesome. -JB
